My first double diamond experience
A couple of weeks ago I took a day trip to Kirkwood and it was great... big open spaces, lots of trials for me to get lost on.
I went on my first double black diamond: The Wall...
The view from the top of the wall.
What was I thinking??? Well, I guess there's only one way down...
My friend Karena stuck on the side/slope of the mountain. Gives you an idea of how steep this thing was.
Crazzyyyy.. good times though. I'm gonna get one more snowboarding trip in next week before spring settles in.

HOLY CRAP that is steep! I literally exclaimed out loud "Holy Crap!" when I saw the picture of your friend Karena. I'm assuming you got down just fine, but MAN. I think I'm a pretty good skier and am scared to even think about going down something like that. PROPS TO YOU!
this isnt related to your trip (though that mos def looks extremely steep) but yo' boy Russell Peters is comin' to your alma mater UCSD.
may 22nd, i think. check his website. tix are probably going to be in the low 20's...
i'll be working the show...it'll be slick.
hope life is treating you well! spring break is here: let's catch up?
fun adventures brother (:
I'm glad you love snowboarding. Just don't go and get better than me. We might have a few words if you do that!
Less than 1 day!
