Summer 2007 Softball Champs!

We went into the playoffs as the #3 seed and came away with the championship! To get there we beat the #6, #2 and #1 seeds. In fact, the #1 seed came in undefeated and we had been shut out by them earlier in the season. It was a crazy ending with us closing out a 11 to 12 game with a bang bang double play. GO GRX SOFTBALL!



Our next season starts on Sept. 17th, so if you get a chance, come on out and cheer us on to another championship!

What I've learned...

What I've learned about Thailand so far...
1. Showers are useless since you start sweating right when you come out anyway.
2. Thai people love the king and queen, if you don't, what's wrong with you?
3. You have to have a yellow shirt showing support for the king or else you look like a tourist (notice I put on the yellow shirt right away in the picture)
4. Thai people wake up at 4am and go to bed at 2am.
5. Pedestrians do NOT have the right of way.
6. Lane markers are just suggestions.
7. Motorcycles/Mopeds are the preferred mode of transportation here, especially in the country side.
8. Thai people eat a lot, but don't get fat... yessssss
9. Mosquitos suck (literally and figuratively)
10. I am the palest/tallest thai person in Thailand.
